Un lungo percorso, una grande crescita .

Ed eccoci finalmente al termine di un lungo percorso con un accrescimento professionale e con una grandissima soddisfazione sia lavorativa che umana.

Professionale; perchè ho potuto confrontarmi e consolidare tecniche di insegnamento e mental coaching, già parte del percorso formativo dei miei allievi e players ,siano essi dilettanti o professionisti.

Umana; per le stupende persone che ho conosciuto in questo iter, perchè visto il loro curriculum , si sono dimostrate, come sempre succede alle persone di grande livello e cultura, disponibili e totalmente piene della voglia di passare tutta la loro conoscenza e passione.

Quindi con grande orgoglio da parte mia, vi allego il certificato del corso e del superamento dello stesso.

Dr. Brian Hemmings, C. Psychol., AFBPsS, FBASES, HCPC Registered Sport & Exercise Psychologist

Brian was the lead psychologist to the England golf team for 16 years (1997-2013) delivering high performance strategies with European and World Championship winning teams and individuals at men’s, youth and junior level. During this time, he helped develop the mental skills of the best young emerging English golfers including the likes of Danny Willett, Chris Wood, Ross Fisher, Tom Lewis, Paul Waring, Eddie Pepperell, Tommy Fleetwood  and Andrew Johnston, along with many Walker Cup players  and Seniors Tour winner and amateur legend (now Seniors Tour) Gary Wolstenhome, MBE.

Brian has continued to work with many of these players into their professional careers on the various European tours. He was also the performance psychologist to the English Women’s Golf Association (1998-2001 & 2006-2010) and still works with several current LET players.  Brian is the author of the CD ‘In the Zone: Simple Mental Skills to Improve Your Golf’ and three books, including the best-seller ‘Mental Toughness for Golf: The Minds of Winners’.  He has presented extensively within the UK to golfers, coaches and students, and at PGA National Conferences in Great Britain, Holland, Germany and Denmark.  Brian’s profile has also seen him present in Australia, USA, China, South Korea, Hong Kong, India and widely in mainland European countries.  He has also worked for the PGAs of Europe as a development consultant on the R&A ‘Working for Golf’ worldwide programme.  As well as hosting four successful UK golf psychology conferences since 2002, Brian regularly runs UK Masterclasses in Golf Psychology for psychologists and golf coaches.

Brian has a wealth of experience in other sports, having worked with championship winning individuals and teams in professional cricket, 12 medallists in Olympic and Commonwealth Games boxing, and podium winners in single seat motor racing including Formula 3, GP2 & Formula 1. Whilst golf consultancy takes up most of his time, Brian is still actively working in professional cricket.

Brian gained his PhD in sport psychology from the University of Southampton in 1998; and has trained and mentored many golf psychology practitioners over the last decade. He is also trained in hypnosis and bereavement counselling. In 2010 he was awarded a Fellowship by the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences in recognition of ‘esteemed personal achievement, skills, knowledge and service to BASES and the sport and exercise science community’.
